As a successful speculator in this years world cup I feel able to offer an opinion. There is no comparison imo. I don't particularly like Ronaldo. He may be cool, I don't know, but I don't like the tude. That said he's hungry as f**k and has a fantastic work rate. Sure he has peaks and troughs like any athlete, but he wants it and he'll do what he needs to to get it. I read about him a while back how he used to be bullied at the football academy that he was at as a kid as he was the only player from his region, and this spawned his hunger. I respect that personally. As an aside, there's a bit on TV at the mo about a football school thats just been opened in China. It's 167 acres with 50 pitches full of kids who have been given a way out of poverty for themselves and their families. Watch this space. | ||
