Interesting
I wonder what was the AIM of the report today? No studies are done independent of adgender.
Re-classification on the way?

Looks like the increase is only in the number of people visiting this charity's needle exchanges, not an increase in users.
The government estimate for steroid users for 2012/13, males aged 24-59 was 59,000, and the proportion of users for that population is given elsewhere as 0.2%. In 1996 it was 0.3% and seems to have been either 0.1% or 0.2% since then. So it looks like numbers have actually been quite steady for some time.

Interestingly, this doesn't just seem to be a UK/European/American phenomenon.
My sister has been working in Dubai for the last 8 years and tells me that recreational steroid use is rife. It's all very materialistic out there and when you're in your tight Armani t-shirt you want to look good in it.

On a couple of occasions people have wrongly assumed that I was on roids and on one of those occasions this was due to my moon delts

As a doctor what are your views on Dubai?

So what you are saying is you go out for 'holiday', but take your 'prescription book' with you

This research has come out as a result of that Kid who was in the news last week who apparently died from use. That's all. It gets people talking and sells.
It's always gone on.

I met that lad a few times and a few of my mates were friends with him/trained with him
But with the greatest respect I think it was something far more than peds that led to his death he had a very addictive/obsessive personality which sadly led to what happend

I think it works both ways Jack. A lot of natty guys demonize peds wayy too much and over exagerrate the possible negative side effects.

I have no doubt that this is correct as well

Is that really a problem though? Compared to the "gurus"/dealers selling to teenagers?
