its who wins over the course of the events, big Z is a legend and always will be but shaw got the points, Z didn't...end of story really.
Its like saying a football team gets battered by opposition for 90 mins and sneaks a last minute goal.....the result matters...its immaterial of anything else.

Perhaps it just wasn't his day, or maybe he's been focusing much of his efforts on overhead training. He does seem even stronger this year overhead.

Thor getting to be a good all round athlete but static events he will drop a few points

Shaw is looking on form doesn't have a weak event in final
Big Z must beat shaw on frame and yoke to win final as I see shaw beating him on truck stones and deadlift will be close, plus big Z is the man overhead but he has struggled with dumbells in the past when they get really heavy (look at Arnold's)

Brian shaw is the strongest man on planet earth. Not statically, but the strongest man alive. Big z is not stronger at the minute or he would of won. Not first time Brian's beaten him. I know the love for big z, but give brian credit. He's the f**king man at the minute

Bench press strength is DIRECTLY related to knowledge and wisdom in all walks of life.
Do you know nothing?
Meant he would lose a powerlifting contest to big z. But for overall functional strength he has him at the minute.
