Dunno, there'll be you, tel, fennelly, eddie, mark, loz all pulling over 400 (dunno about pritchett and oberst)

Jerry Pritchett is a massive deadlifter and has pulled a hitch free 410kg my guess is he'd be good for even more . Oberst is not so good he struggles with his dead compared to his massive squat and overhead he has pulled 360kg

What does Oberst deadlift or around about? He seems like he will be great at every event apart from maybe deadlift. He just seems like another Mike Jenkins due to being a big presser and American football background so quick on his feet for a huge guy, which is obviously really good.

Jerry Pratchett has impressed me at all the recent comps...first at WSM(I didn't expect much and he was good)...then I thought both the Arnold contests would be too heavy for him and he done really good in those too.

It will just be top 3 get automatic qualifiers to WSM.

But as per usual the top 5 Americans will go and top 5 British guys will be going.

For the British guys the obvious ones are Terry, Loz, Edd(certain), Felix(been on good form, would have to really f**k up the Brits not to go) and then a 5th which is the one space up for grabs really, which you would say is between Hix and Jack Mac...but Jack Mac is injured.

I actually think the two American's will come in the top 4 in this and that is a reserved prediction because of being on a British site.

I thought he wasn't competing due to injury. My mistake.

Jerry is definitely a threat for top 3 if there is no dumbbell. Which I think there isn't.

Is Zs record 442.5?I know its with straps, but that isnt too far off world record powerlifting territory.

I do agree. I wish I hadn't put my 'reserved top 4' comment now after thinking about it...both Loz and Terry seem back on form. Especially if yoke and farmers are in there.

Have you got a list of the events, so far I know max deadlift is an event from the top of my head.

It is...but it was mega hitched, but also the bar was an axle so a lot less flex(I think). Hard to compare.

Would be nice for Z to have a 1000lbs strongman deadlift and 500lbs log before he retires.

I don't recall a hitch.. in fact I don't recall Z ever hitching a deadlift
