Maybe that's as far as he can go?? it'd be allowed in that case.

Stan's definitely my favourite bodybuilder!

Awesomely strong guy Stan Efferding, but I don't like the whole setting world records in a non world competition, unless that was one?

It wasnt a worlds, it was a local meet. But who cares? Especially since he is a pro bodybuilder, whats the point in him doing a qualifier and a national meet just to get to the worlds to set the record.

Do the plates weight more at the worlds?

They might do.

Doing it at pretty much your gym isn't to be the same as doing it at a international level meet.

I don't think people are trying to take away from himn rather its a shame a great PL dosn't do the highest level.

Off course not everyone has the funds to do this without support.

Sorry but am i the only one who's not getting this, that squat was 382.5, 5kg less than 854(387.5) the bench was 272.5(600) not 606. i know it's nitpicking but i'm absolutely certain thats whats on the bar, not unless on the squat theres a 2.5 behind the 1.25, but the bench is definitely wrong.

Looks like a 25kg bar on the squat...

already accounted for that, it's 7 25's and a 1.25, thats 377.5 on an ipf bar and 382.5 on a 25 bar.

Steve said:Tom, do you fancy unequipped and what do you think you might lift? 850kg+ at 93kg?

Or will you stick to "proper" lifting?

I don't even know why proper lifting is anymore... If I do a big raw squat then I'll have a go, but 850? That's outrageous and will need a 200 raw bench probably.... s**t, are you joking?!

What are the best lifters at 93kg totalling atm? 900? I cannot currently see 850 from that. I realise that tehy will be focused on unequipped as opposed to equipped but onkly a 50kg difference between best equipped &rt; unequipped?

Mind you I see the current WR standard is 980 @ 93kg.
