Starting a new journal as it's no longer 2012 and I feel a new direction with the way I train.

Only train twice a week with the occasional third session or events.

My goals for the next few years is to become one of the top guys at u105kg

This year I qualified for the final and came 10th

Good luck Ben. You made solid progress this year. I think training twice a week with the occasional third session can work really well.

I train the same ben and am making slow but steady gains, recovering from heavy sessions whilst being natural takes longer imo.

Cheers guys going to be doing two top sets of 5 on each lift for the next few months as I neglect my rep work quite a lot mainly concentrating on singles really which doesn't help me.

Will then be looking to use bish's blockhead routine after Christmas to lead me into northerns and the naturals if it's on.

Yep, I'm a twice a weeker with the occasional events session in at the weekend as well. Works for me, but I'm old and need more recovery! LOL

Nice edit Ben Happy, have to say JC is right! you've done well this year and can see no reason if you continue to progress why you can't be challenging for a national spot in either U105 comps!
