Cheers JC, I think the DB is the same diameter of handle as the beast on ebay, but is a plate loadable one. Never pressed more than 50kg on it, but hoping for a wee PB in the next month or so!

Tonight - man flu rebites, but The Plan knows no excuses so I stick to it;

Fronties
5x60
2x80
3x6x90 - all solid, and I think better than the 85's last week. Confident of the 5's at 95 and 100 over the next two weeks now.

Axle press
5x65
3x6x75 - not flying like i'd like them to, but never any doubt.5's at 80 should be fine, 85 will be tough tho - up the carbs for that day Happy

Zercher squats
3x6x80 - nice. will take these up 10kg a week I think, til a wall's hit like.

Rows
2x6x90

Knee raisesx20, KB side bends 12x32kg each side. That'll do it. Rest til Friday now.

Training tonight;

Squats
6x60
3x100
3x6x120 - first set with knee wraps to see if it took the pressure off the knee, second and third without, all felt ok tho. Will go to 125 or 130 next week for 5's.

Bench
8x60
3x80
3x6x90 - all easy

Deadlifts
5x110
2x6x150 - first set hook grip, second double overhand. Think 150 is most i've done DO grip before, so was happy to nail 6 with it. Grip maybe improving somehow.

Weekend stuff - man flu takes a strange turn, and was up a lot of the night on friday with some f**ked up cramps in diaphram/stomach. Thought I was going to die. At one point I was lying on the bathroom floor, trousers round the ankles, puking up, hardly able to breathe, and not able to shout for help. Seemed to ease off tho after some tasty meds from the Robinson's on Saturday. Meant eating was sub-optmail on Saturday tho, and wasn't expecting too much today. However...

Log press
6x60 - didn't feel that snappy :? Usually a bad sign...
3x70
2x5x75 - all solid, but not as easy/fast as I'd have liked. 5's at 80 will be tough, but should be nailed next week. Plan said 3x5 but knee said no to plan, so left it, and got coaxed into a head to head max out on viking press with jonoboy

Viking press (weights including frame, which is 30kg in hands)

1x105
1x110
1x115
1x120
1x122.5 - booyah! PB fo sho, but haven't really gone all out on it before, not this one anyway. Felt solid. Getting tough towards the end, but tiny bit more 'in the tank'. Happy.

Thick handled DB press
5x35 (each hand)
1x45 (left), 2x45 (right) - feeling solid
fx52.5 (right) - f**king f**k. An inch away from lockout :evil:
1x52.5 - no mistake. Popped it up, for an all time PB proper PB! First one I've made for ages. Strength is getting back to where it should be. Time to reach towards pasteurs fresh! Happy

Stones to 51"
1x80
2x5x117 - not fast, but comfy enough. second set a wee bit better than the first.

3-board press
3x105
3x110 - tough, but ok.
3x100 - paused, and felt nice.
