Did I see something about £200 odd for a ticket? This makes it unaffordable for most. Those who can afford these kind of prices most likely have very successful gyms, or already have a PhD and know enough already.

What is the ballpark figure for tickets?

Get Benedikt Magnusson down - he's in Yorkshire!

I suppose it's all down to the size of the workshops and how much time spent Q&A time you can have personally I would pay to fly out to Russia to train with Sergey Ivanov that's if he was ever willing to do this

It's at my old uni. I'd be really up for it but to be honest I don't think I'd be able to afford it looking at the prices.

Let me know if you end up going Milsy and we'll get a session in while you're down?

Seems a bit pointless if you're going to out price the average lifter. What's the point in having speakers, if no one can afford to listen to them?

Thanks for the interest guys.

Pricing details at:
http://www.spss2014.org/registration.html

These are for the full 3-day event (right below the table there's a list of what's included). We'll have at least 13 1-hour VIP lectures, plus 3 2-hour debate panels with these VIPs and Q&A from the audience, plus all the regular speakers, exhibition, demos, some free workshops as well, and more (details being added all the time).

We realize some people just want to attend one specialized seminar and are not interested in the rest of the event, so we'll be offering separate registrations for the seminars in a few weeks. These will be cheaper than the main event, of course, and people registered for the main event will be able to register for the seminars (first-come-first-served) at discount prices. Will post details here as soon as we have them.

We're doing what we can to bring over some of the best people in the strength world. As much as we try to cut down and make it accessible, without miracle sponsoring, this has a price.
