Member 170, 517 posts SQ 270, BP 180, DL 270720.0 kgs @ 125kgs Eq | Friday, 12th,March, 17.00 Dead lift from 6" blocks with Dax Warm-Up - Raw, all weights in kilos: 70x3 70x3 70x3 120x3 160x1 200x1 240x1 Work sets - Switched to reverse grip, max dl suit and an Inzer lever belt. 285xF - s**te 285xF - s**te 245x1 - Slow 245x1 - Removed suit much better 245x1 - Very fast Barbell rows - 60x5 - 100x5 - 100x5 - 100x5 - 100x5 - Out of the gym at 18.00. I'm pretty sure that my log will indicate that I just can't dead lift heavy week after week. I'm just a bit slow recognising the bloody obvious! | ||

Obviously my openers are subject to change but I think I'm good to start with 270;180 and 270 which are my current competition maxs. My dead lift is my biggest concern, it's very hit and miss at the moment. I suspect that I am going to heavy too often and simply wearing myself out. I probably need to take my foot off the gas a little, perhaps by alternating a speed session with a max effort session. | ||

All reps paused now 180 x 1 - 2 board - slow 180 x 1 - 1 board - much faster 180 x 1 - To chest long pause & rapid ascent 190 x 1 - 1 board - No problem 200 x F - 2 board - Will fly on the day No more heavy benching until April 11th. | ||
