Just an idea, don't get caught up in the fact its 200, thats just a number. Trying to break in the katana i didn't do 200 i went 205, still have never even attempted 200. Even if its only a touch and go it still gets you working the line.

Dead lift with Dax & Mike

Warm-Up - Raw, all weights in kilos:
60x3
60x3
60x3
100x3
140x1
180x1
220x1

Work sets - Switched to reverse grip and an Inzer max dead lift suit.

260x1 - Like a rocket
280xF - Welded to the floor
260x1 - Welded to the floor not happy at all.

My dead lift is very hit & miss at the moment the first 260 flew and people were demanding that 300 went on the bar but I new I was spent force. I'm really not sure if I was psyched out by the prospect of a PB or just too tiered from working so much overtime recently. The oomph just wasn't there! Best not to dwell on it.

Bent-over rows
100x5 -
100x5 -
100x5 -
100x5 -
100x5 -

Out of the gym at 18.15

Is Annie Sugden still alive? It was still called "Emmerdale Farm" when I was last subjected to it.

No mate, they shot her through the head to make way for blonde chicks with cleavage. They didn't take "farm" out of the title for nothing.

A deadlift suit eh ? How do you find that ? I tried the squat suit as you know and had much difficulty breathing ergo my best lifts are raw. You lack my massive midriff. Hope it all works out for you

The Jury is still out as far as the deadlift suit is concerned Pete. Its very difficult to breath in and has to be positioned just right otherwise its more likely to take weight off your total.

Monday, 8th March, 18.15

Team tonight - Dax Dyer.

Squat, raw, all weights in kilos.

Warm up:-

60x3 - Shoulders very tight still after yesterdays extra bench session.
60x3
60x3
100x3
140x3
170x1
180x1
200x1

Low box squats (14" box) - added my titan centurion and loose knee wraps.

180x3 - very tough making depth.
180x3 - easier
180x3 - in the groove
180x3 - very deep - 3 White lights.
200x1 - Easiest rep of the lot.

Decided on a lighter session as its getting near that time when you run the ragged edge and getting the balance of training with getting sufficient rest becomes an art form.

Good mornings -

60x5
100x5
140x5
