Squats

First two sets felt heavy and did them without the belt. Third set I belted up and found that on the two first sets I had used too wide stance, same width that I use with my flat shoes. Third set and onwards felt great and managed to get the stretch and "bouce" out of the bottom. This makes a huge difference. Six triples with double BW, happy with that.

Sumo DL
60kg x10
80kg x8
100kg x6
120kg x6
140kg x4
Didn't feel all that good. Couldn't get my hips to the bar or squeeze my chest up properly.

SLDL
120kg x5,5,5
Felt ok but didn't have time to do any more. Had to skip back extensions as well.

This was a pretty quick workout for me done in 40min.

And to top it all I just received an entry form to WDFPA Europeans Eek . Not sure if it's an actual invitation but I'll send it in and see what happens. Might as well keep BW at 67.5kg until I find out what happens.

You gonna go to this bro? If you do come and introduce yourself to me (were you at the brits?). I will be over on the Emerald isle to watch blondie do her thing and also drink large volumes of the blacks stuff before being thrown out for being on to many drugs

Well, if I get a place I'll be going for sure. And if I go I'll be lifting on the Saturday but will probablty stay and watch Sunday as well as join in the merry making on Sunday evening.

Matt, I was there at the British. if you watched the girls and the light weights flights on the Saturday, you might have spotted a half dead skinny dude sleeping in the warm up area.

Hell, it would be so great to get an invite. Cause I'm dying to make up for my cockup at the British.

Ahh that was you! yes I did see you then, I was there on the sat watching Jordana do her thing.
She will be lifting on the Sat so I'll be with her then but will probably be there on the sunday, even more so if there is drinking to be done!

Jordana is something else! Saw her DL's and they are just outstanding and she seems to have a lot more coming. Will be good to see her lift again.

And as far as I understand, the application form is indeed an invite so it looks very likely that I'll be going.

Only problem is that I need to start to watch my weight again. Luckily it didn't shoot up again after the British, actually the oposite for some reason even though I pigged out and took it easy I just leaned out like crazy. Have no idea how that happend but happy about it now cause as long as I don't gain a couple of Kg's I won't have to worry so much about making weight.

Nothing left in the tank when I got to the chins. Normally I would get 8-10 here but no way today.

If next week is the same like this one I'm going to add a rest day on Wednesdays. Accomplished f**k all today. Left the Face Pulls and Tri Pushdowns as I was finished anyway.

Arghhh!!! f**king hate these. Could barely do the first one as my abs suddenly got a fit of DOMS from Wednesdays workout. Tried a second set but it was too painful that I couldn't even keep the abs tight. Gave up.

Military Press

Felt really good apart from my f**king abs that were in agony.

Felt nice. Double choked the band at the bottom and just looped it over the bar inside sleeves. Worked better than choke at bottom and choked out at the end of the sleeves.

These were ok apart from that the bashed my legs when the bar came down again.

Did same work on both lifts after each other

Felt heavy, but it's a start. Lower back felt great though.

Both BLDL and Sumo felt like s**t today. I think I need to play around a bit more with the sumo DL. Next Sunday I'll just focus on the Sumo and work up to a single and try and go a bit harder in it. It feels like I'm just faffing around too much with it instead of just ripping with it and it's holding me back. I also think I've done enough to break myself in to it so that if I go a bit harder in it I won't get terribly sore.

Ab-wheel felt a bit better today. Think I learned a new lesson there. To be patient at the bottom as it equals to less deceleration and acceleration which puts less strain on th emid section. To pull/push the arms back and not so much down when turning around which took the strain away from mid section and I could actually feel that I was using my lats there.

Got some vids as well that I'll try and post later tonight.

Blah, they are only an inch or so above belly button so 4-5inches too low for a proper High Pull.

Didn't know what to call them as 100kg felt a bit too light for speed DL's so just started trying to make them a bit more explosive and they actually felt quite good. Seemed to get more out of my legs than I normally do with bands. Maybe a keeper, they are certainly more fun than plain speed DL's.

Bench felt solid today and the 5x5's were hard but comfortable. Used wrist wraps today for the first time and not sure if they helped much but they still felt good. Will order a a pair of inzer ones that I can use in comp. Hopefully they will help me to finally get a 100kg bench in comp. Just managed to lock out the 20th rep with 60kg. 85kg for 5x4 next week.

Stinking hard and really focused on squeezing them as high and together and now I'm real tight just between the spines of the scapulas and spine, rhomboids I guess.
