I burnt myself out mentally and physically. I was injured pre-china and if i couldve had a full refund i doubt i wouldve gone. However i couldnt, so i relied on painkillers and non-faggotry in order to make the most of it, which i did Happy My wrist is recovering, but i want to do whatever i enjoy. I put my all into weightlifting and loved it and competed nationally which is good i guess. Now i wanna do summat else again
Adam has influenced me to powerlift again and i love it again Happy ive entered a competition for the 22nd feb.

Nights last night, few hours sleep and a coffee to set me up Happy plus the extra food im on must be helping.

Squats - changed my set up a bit to include the bar being a bit lower on my back, and my stance was slightly wider but close enough to hit a real nice depth Happy Felt a lot stronger in general although the weight wasnt heavy. I need stronger abductors now, my knees came in a bit towards the end of my sets.

On smolov, first sets were always toughest for myself, as everything just felt heavy and especially so many reps. It eases off after a few sessions though! Happy I predict 200 on comp day.

thanks mate, 5's on friday will be a lot easier i reckon (i wont say actually easy lol) but i should blast them. 9's are mental really. And thatd be nice Happy going to hold off the belt as long as possible.

Sack off the singles and build up some rep work on bench. Too heavy too often maybe, you did heavy bench 2 days ago.

I think you'll find you've done heavy bench 3 times in 6 days Grin You're probably just trying to rush things, which is understandable with how far off your old maxes you are. But you have to take into account bodyweight.

lol i know, still figuring out a routine matey. Just doing it now. Going to do 531 for OHP, and swap between heavy bench, heavy cgbp, bench for reps, and cgbp for reps. All paused though. And going to rotate in bands and chains when i feel i need it. & Use incline bench, DB ohp, and dumbell pressing for accessory. Along with usual rowing and curls for other accessory on dl days Happy
