Good work carrying the guy down the stairs, many would run for the hills when faced with an ordeal like that.

Thanks. It wasn't the nicest thing I've done but someone had to do it. I've since found out the guy was my neighbours brother. Her place has been crawling with coppers ever since.

Friday afternoon at the office. I literally just thought hey lets give the #3 a go so this is the only gripper rep I've done today (apart from the one I did with the left hand as well Tongue).

Cheers mate. It's fairly rare for me to miss this gripper now, definitely more hit than miss.

I've had an idea to bloat out my sandbag a bit more. I have the odd bent up nail knocking about the place. I intend to cut them up using bold croppers in "shots" and make mini 1kg inner bags. These can either be added to the sandbag or used to replace the existing sand filler. Eventually this should yield a heavier bag of roughly the same dimensions. Seems a good idea in theory. The first step is to go for an extra 5kg. I so want to shoulder 140kg. This should allow for slow steady increments while encouraging me to bend more nails.

I like this idea Happy I think I need to break my old sandbag out again!

--WARM UP--

KB Swings
7.5kg x 50 Reps

Band Face Pulls
x50 reps
x50 reps

Axle Complex 60kg
Deadlift x 3 reps +
BOR x 3 reps +
Power Clean x 3 reps +
Military Press x 3 reps +
Squats x 3 reps +
BTN Push Press x 1 rep

EZ Curls
30kg x 10 reps
40kg x 10 reps
25kg x 10 reps --Reverse

--MAIN WORK--

Press
60kg x 5 reps
75kg x 5 reps
90kg x 5 reps --Brought my grip in a touch. Made quite a difference, the bar no longer wanted to rest on my clavicles but rather wanted to hover about an inch above. If I tried to force it down it simply sprang back up. Weird but felt a lot better on the press, very smooth.

Push Press
90kg x 5 reps
100kg x 5 rep

Axle BOR
100kg x 10 reps
100kg x 10 reps
100kg x 10 reps
100kg x 10 reps
100kg x 6 reps --Changed my grip to be a little wider. It's now somewhere between my regular row width and snatch width. Makes a huge difference to my back, much much harder but I really like it. This grip also forces my thumbs to work harder, again this is another plus.

--EXTRA'S--

Chin Ups
x 6 reps
x 6 reps
x 6 reps
x 6 reps
x 6 reps
x 5 reps

1 x DB Z-Press
40kg x 3 reps (Each Side)
40kg x 3 reps (Each Side)
40kg x 3 reps (Each Side)
40kg x 3 reps (Each Side)
40kg x 3 reps (Each Side)
40kg x 2 reps (Each Side) --So close to an increment, just wish I had some event smaller plates to go up by. 40.5kg would be good. Hmm should I start writing PB on these since every time I do Z-Press I get a total volume PB. Feels a little cheap.

I had considered a few more extra bits but I'm completely fried now. A weekend of bad food has left me a little out of sorts. Should be all clear by tomorrow.

Nice work bud, odd how grip width can alter the press so much, if I bring mine in i'm way weaker!

Cheers mate. Grip width is a funny thing and it really can make a difference. I've not mixed it up with rows and overheads. I think today's experiments were very good.
