Struggling to find time to train, but managed to get a very quick session in before work. Still below my best, but getting there.

As I entered the gym a guy asked me if I was planning to use the squat rack. When I replied "yes" he handed me a big spongy tube that fits around bars. Random. I didn't use it Grin

I think I actually love this exercise. If the front squat was a woman she would receive perpetual cunnilingus.

Not much nowadays!

I was lured out of retirement by a comp with a front squat in it. That'll probably be my last one though.

175kg front squat after (presumably) only recently getting back into lifting is incredibly impressive

Thanks. I've been ticking along with extremely minimalistic training, mainly upper body stuff. I have been doing some zerchers off blocks, but it probably works out at 1 rep per fortnight on average.

I find it really interesting how some people retain strength really well and others don't. I noticed that Tony Bonner (Sugden member) returned to training after a lengthy lay off, and was doing some decent numbers.

My ability to retain strength is very poor Wayne! But at least it comes back pretty fast (sometimes faster than it goes).

Nice lifting and, in an age of extremely impressive cameras, refreshingly blurry videos. You might make a few people feel nostalgic.Wink
