My name's Martin and I have been lifting on and off over the past year or two. I've recently starting taking it more seriously and now train 3-4 times a week, usually with likesadeadkf and SuperSteel101. I'm hoping to keep this journal so I can track my progress.

I'll also be writing on my blog at http://ifeardolphins.blogspot.com but it will usually just consist of the same content as I post here.

When I go for a new PB I'll try get it on film so you should see some videos soon as I'm currently at or approaching my old PB's.

I'll be posting my lifts from yeserday and today shortly.

I didn't feel up for training on Monday or Tuesday and so my lifts were a bit off but today I felt really good and as a result I lifted quite well.

Bench

Bar x 12
40kg x 8
60kg x 6
75kg x 3
80kg x 3 (PB for triples)
85kg x 1 (Equal my PB for 1-rep max)
70kg x 3 (Paused)
70kg x 3 (Paused)

Pull-ups
BW x 8
BW x 8
+5kg x 4
+5kg x 3
BW x 4

Dips
BW x 10
BW x 10
BW x 10
+10kg x 5
BW x 10

I was particularly happy with my bench today, getting a PB for triples and equalling my 1-rep max. I was only going for a double at 80 but as I got both reps smoothly I decided to go for a third and was surprised I got it (I also started laughing half way through the final rep for some reason :S).

I sure have! Yeah I think it will. I was reading yours and it seems people give good advice so I feel that would be benificial.

How did you see I created it so quick? Did you just spot it by chance?

Yeah it definitely should be.

I had some sort of throat cold but decided to go to the gym anyway. I didn't do very much but I was very happy with what I was lifting and I think my form held together nicely too.

Squat
Bar x Loads
60kg x 5
80kg x 5
90kg x 5 (x2)
95kg x 5 (x2)
100kg x 5 (Felt good)

Considering I got 100kg for five and it felt quite easy, and after lifting quite heavy for me the previous sets I should definitely be at my old PB of 110kg for one. Next Friday I think I'll attempt it or maybe even try to beat it.

I finished up in the gym with some step-ups onto a bench keeping it nice and easy.

BW x 5 (Each leg)
+20kg x 8 (EL)

Yeah im on here quite a lot but just saw it as the first journal. With you squatting youll definatley be going for more than 110kgs for a single aswell.

Today was quite a good day all round, even though I'm still battling a cold. I ended up with a new one-rep max on the bench which I was very pleased about. My training for today was as follows:

Bench
Bar x 12
40kg x 5
60kg x 3
82.5kg x 1
90kg x 1 (PB)
75kg x 3
75kg x 5
75kg x 4 (Failed the 5th rep)

Military Press
Bar x 10
40kg x 8
50kg x 4 (Failed the 5th rep) (Rep PB)
45kg x 6
45kg x 6
45kg x 5

Seated Row (Machine)
60kg x 5
70kg x 5
80kg x 5
80kg x 6
80kg x 8

Lat Pull Down (Machine)
70kg x 5
65kg x 6
65kg x 8

I finished today with some random band stretches that likesadeadkf showed me.

I bought a Flip cam today and got a video of the PB so I'll get it fired up later.

Deadlift
Bar x Loads
60kg x 8
80kg x 5
110kg x 5
110kg x 5
120kg x 5
120kg x 5
110kg x 5

Shrugs
Bar x 20
50kg x 20
60kg x 20
60kg x 20
Bar x 20

Chin ups
BW x 10
BW x 8
BW x 6
BW x 7
BW x 7

Bicep Dumbbell Curl
12.5kg x 8 (Each Arm)
15kg x 8 (For 3 sets)

Decline Sit-up
BW x 20
+5kg for 15
BW x 10 (More declined)

Overall I am quite happy with todays workout. I was focussing mainly on my deadlift form as last week I was told I am arching a bit. I seemed to have kept decent form today, losing form slighlty on the last rep of each set. The weight was quite easy and I can lift it quite quickly, all I need now is good form before I can start pushing for the higher weights!
