My deadlift form is a lot better than it was a month ago and as a result my lifts feel a lot better. I kept my form dead-on for the 140 triple so I'm happy about that. | ||

Squats Bar x Loads 60kg x 5 70kg x 5 80kg x 5 90kg x 5 (5 Sets) 80kg x 5 Close Grip Bench Bar x Loads 40kg x 8 60kg x 5 70kg x 5 (4 Sets) 75kg x 4 - Failed 5th rep I had a go with Neil's slingshot here: 80kg x 2 - trying to get used to it 80kg x 5 Pull-up and Dips Superset 3 sets of: BW x 8 - Pullup BW x 8 - Dip I only managed 4 pullups on the 3rd set. Banded Push-downs 12.5kg x 6 17.5kg x 5 21kg x 5 21kg x 5 15kg x 15 I had a great, fun session today and especially liked the slingshot. It was a little too big for me but still useful. | ||

Dealift Bar x 5 50kg x 7 70kg x 5 90kg x 5 125kg x 3 135kg x 3 145kg x 1 130kg x 3 110kg x 10 The idea was to go for a triple at 145kg today but the first rep was quite slow off the ground so I felt I wouldn't get the three. The main thing for me was that I did it with excellent form, so I'm not too bothered about not getting the triple. Hopefully next time! Shrugs 50kg x 10 60kg x 10 70kg x 10 70kg x 10 - Held the final one in a 'shrugged' position for ~10 seconds Chin-ups BW x 10 BW x 8 BW x 8 Bicep Curls 14kg x 8 - each arm - (for 3 sets) Overall I am very happy with todays workout despite not getting the 145kg triple. My form is looking good and my lockout is fast so it's only a matter of time. | ||

I did a few sets of squats inbetween my bench sets because the gym is closed tomorrow and made sure I was going deep. | ||

Haha. My from used to be terrible but it is gradually getting a lot better. Hopefully I can keep it nice as I progress to heavier weights. | ||

I was absolutely shattered so wasn't expecting much but overall I am happy with today. Squats Bar x 10 70kg x 5 90kg x 5 110kg x 1 100kg x 5 105kg x 3 100kg x 5 100kg x 5 70kg x 5 - 'ass to the grass' Abs Machine 10kg x 12 12kg x 15 10kg x 15 I was very happy with my squating today, and made sure to go especially deep so that next time I go for a PB I will be comfortable with my ROM. I did my last set 'ass to the grass' just to get a little extra 'burn'! | ||

I was absolutely shattered, having only slept for about 4 hours, but I still had a decent workout considering. Bench Bar x Loads 50kg x 8 70kg x 2 80kg x 1 92.5 x 1 - PB (+2.5kg) 70kg x 5 70kg x 5 Deadlift Bar x Loads 60kg x 5 110kg x 5 130kg x 3 130kg x 3 130kg x 3 110kg x 5 110kg x 5 110kg x 5 Back Hyperextensions BW x 15 10kg x 15 I then mucked about trying to do muscle-ups and the human flag. Can't quite do them yet but I'm hoping one day I'll be able to. Here's the video of my bench: Overall I am pretty happy with today. I would of liked to have got a bigger increase in my bench byt a PB is still a PB and I was drained when I did it. I'm sure the 100 will come pretty soon. Fingers crossed... | ||

I usually bench on Mondays and Thursdays which is enough time, but this week I did it Tuesday and Thursday so thats why I was suffering a little bit. Training today: Squat Bar x Loads 70kg x 5 90kg x 5 100kg x 5 100kg x 5 105kg x 3 105kg x 3 105kg x 3 110kg x 3 - PB 70kg x 8 Decline Sit-ups BW x 15 BW x 12 BW x 10 I'm very happy with my squats today. As usual I was trying to keep my depth and form good, which I did. I was initally going for a double at 110kg but they felt easy so went for a third and it was just as easy as the two previous reps. | ||
