I've just done my first strongman comp and came 4th and will be looking to do my next one in the new year. Im now spending the next 7/8 weeks training for my next powerlifting comp which will be the GPC Worlds in France in November.

My current best lifts are as follows:

Squat - 282.5kg
Bench - 190kg
Deadlift - 260kg

My goals for this comp are to hit 300kg on Squat. 200kg Bench and 275kg deadlift.

All those lifts are do-able john, and more !! what sort of equipment are you allowed ? double ply everything ?

have you been tinkering with your avatar ? thats not the nice one i did for you johnboy !

I think you can use anything mate, ive got a hardcore squat suit and rage bench shirt, just going to order some briefs and possibly a deadlift suit depending on the money situation. Hopefully I can achieve the above lifts and more, just depends on how well training goes.

And yeah I tried tinkering with it to make it look better but Ive messed it up, not good at things like that

Im looking at staying in the 100kg class, although I need to lose 6kg at the moment, but think I will be Ok to do this between now and then

Bench Press

100x6 (2sets)
120x5

Incline Bench

60kgx8 (5sets)

Flat Bench (big log)

62kgx10 (2sets)
82kgx10 (2sets)

Did some tricep work after this

Shoulder still isn't right from strongman comp last sunday so was being cautious today

Mate you can dehydrate 10% of your BW before a 24 hour weigh in anyway so you'll be find Happy

Didnt have much time today to get anything done, just getting back into a routine, so will be doing much more next week, shoulder seems to be Ok as well so happy days Happy
