It came on the day after doing some rack pulls, i just assumed since the bar had s**t knurling i maybe couldnt grip it very well and maybe bent my arm a little..i dunno. maybe something else caused it ?

Anyway for about 10 days now it's been on and off hurting, if i tense my tricep and keep arm straight it kind of relieves it. Pain isn't intense but comes on in waves and does my head in

Should I just be icing/ibuprofen ? will some work be beneficial to get blood into it? (ie pull ups/light curls)

elbow end dude but to be honest sometimes it just feels like it's dead centre of the muscle belly

Sounds like a potential bicep tear! Be carefull could be micro tears in the muscle fibre or you mayve have damaged the tendon or a ligament or 2 ?

have been neglecting them mate not curled for a good few weeks but did some tonight and interestingly seemed to alleviate pain. flushing blood into muscle helping maybe ? i should probs do more of them. I do alot of back work but maybe that isnt enough for biceps

thats what worried me mate but i have no swelling or tenderness to touch (just random waves of pain every few hours) and i deadlift hook grip always

i only do functional movements no isolations only compounds for real life strength

It's more than just for flushing blood in to them, train them to keep them strong like you would anything else.

this is good advice and they either get over worked or prob in this case (and in mine in the past neglected)
