East Midlands Classic - Letchworth. April 27th/28th. British Masters Equipped & Classic - Northampton. July 20th. East Midlands Juniors/Masters/Novices - Yardley Gobion. July 20th. Anglian Open - Yardley Gobion. August 18th/19th. All England - Northampton. December 1st. East Midlands Seniors - Letchworth. Entry forms will be available from the GBPF, English Powerlifting and East Midlands websites.

It said Novices for the 20th July, i've never done a powerlifting meet and my deadlift is hitched so wouldn't pass thats why I was going to do novices but I don't know much about powerlifting which is why I wanted to give it a go to see what it's like.

If your not a novice or not from the East Midlands you can just do the Anglian Open which is run at the same time. The date is currently provisional and we are waiting for the Yardley Club to confirm the venue availability. Entry forms should be on the EM website from around April. Thr Yardley lads (Steve Walker, Ian Kinghorn, Jerry Rice et al) put on a good event.
