That deadlift thing has stumped me! Now I can't stop thinking of a solution

But a deadlift IS lighter at the top. As you travel away from the Earth's surface weight decreases.

Or here are some other ideas to get you going:

Deadlift in water up to knee level.

Or for a more even change in resistance, deadlift in a waist deep liquid, with a viscosity dispersed from greatest at the bottom to least at the top.

Or deadlift with iron plates on top of a giant magnet.

Or a giant electromagnet, and write a computer program to vary the current through the magnet as the bar rises, based upon your desired resistance curve (I should probably patent this idea before Louie Simmons steals it).

Or have extra plates stuck to the bar that are attached to the floor by different lengths of wire. They will be pulled off the bar at the desired heights.

Or, rather than the old-fashioned chain attached that is lifted off the floor as the bar rises. Make hollow plates/bars with chain inside them that can be pulled out as the bar rises.

Or make sure the collars on your bar spin well and have small children sit on the ends. They are likely to fall off as you pick it up.

The only flaw with Calis' argument is that the higher you go, the less oxygen there is, therefore making it harder. You also have less barometric pressure higher up which has to be taken into account.

A real architect will make the house fit the hill. He doesn't have to destroy the hill, or cut the top off of it to ruin the hill. A great architect will say; Hello hill! I would like to live here and would like to know what kind of house you would like to have built on you!!! Don't be a lost child waiting looking out the window wainting for the no shows to lift
Get down and shape it
