 gassamer more like Member 2182, 489 posts SQ 220, BP 150, DL 250620.0 kgs @ 115kgs UnEq | So I pick up my new f**king car on Friday, and today some motherf**ker t-bones the rear quarter of it because he didn't bother to check his f**king blind spot on the roundabout. I was f**king fuming. The prick got out and said 'sorry mate, couldn't see you in me blind spot!'. He was driving a hire van from a bodyshop because he was waiting for his company car to be fixed from a previous accident he'd no doubt caused. Anyway we swopped details. There were no witnesses present as the roundabout was so busy that they'd long gone by the time we pulled over. Anyway, I suspect this prime rib of c**t is now going to deny liability. The insurance I currently have is the basic 7 day free drive-away insurance they give you when you buy a f**king car. To cut a long story short it looks like I'd have to pay a £400 excess and claim off my own insurance if this f**ker denies liability, as there is f**k all anyone can do to prove what happened. The damage to my car is certainly not worth £400 and the loss of 10+ years no-claims. But it's the f**king principle more than anything that's f**king killing me. That and the fact that my old piece of f**king s**t car never got hit and I'd have loved it to have been written off. Has anyone ever been in a similar situation? Are there any other ways for me to quell the massive bitterness I'm feeling which doesn't involve posting this b**chc**ts mobile number on PETA and informing them that he likes setting cats alight? I just read that back and wept a little. | ||
