Annoyed my grip is still s**t. Probably could've locked it out cleanly if it hadn't started slipping. I tried to hitch so that I could lock it out in time. Also, the fire alarm started going off just before lol.

Though the bench is still quite low, it felt pretty good for the first time in a while. The bench at my gym needs to be re-covered as it's full of duct tape that is quite slipper and I can't get any leg drive. Some of the tape flipped up and the sticky side was gripping my back; felt great. *buys tacky for benching*

The velcro on Strength Shop wraps are a bit s**t after a while; mine lasted over a year though. I love the actual wrap material, but had to ditch them for more expensive wraps with better velcro.

Yeah, I have a slight problem with this too. As cool as it is to have a truly strong giant play The Mountain... Thor just doesn't look mean enough in my opinion. The guy is 25 years old. He's too baby-faced for The Mountain. Conan Stevens played him in season 1, and he looked the best I think. Taller than Thor also, but he just has that weathered battle-hardened look that Thor doesn't.

And he's meant to be Sandor's older brother. Too young. Meh, I'll reserve judgement until the next episode.

» Hoping for some Deadlift pointers (Go to post)10-05-2014 @ 12:04
Exact opposite problem with my pulls - I'm fast off the floor, and slow to lock-out! I'd also say be more aggressive off the floor, but that can be scary after having sciatica. I had sciatica for a few years before training, but it's been gone for a long time now and I pull pretty aggressively off the floor.
