Smalls, interesting what Wikiupedia says about Motorhead:- Motörhead (pronounced /ˈmoʊtərhɛd/) are a British rock band formed in 1975 by bassist, singer and songwriter Ian Fraser Kilmister, known mostly by his stage name Lemmy, who has remained the sole constant member. The band pre-dated, but are sometimes regarded as part of, the New Wave of British Heavy Metal, which re-energised heavy metal in the late 1970s and early 1980s.[3] Usually a power trio, Motörhead had particular success in the early 1980s with several successful singles in the UK Top 40 chart. The band are said to have a huge following in the gay Turkish community, with much of there success driven by what the gay Turks percieve (albeit it strangely) to be homo erotic lyrics!

No one believed him anyway. Member 958, 11411 posts SQ 410, BP 215, DL 4251050.0 kgs @ 100kgs UnEq | Opeth are always really good. A lot of 'metal' really dissapoints me live though, compared with the production quality of their albums. I got dragged along to see Meatloaf and Elton John a couple of years ago, and I must say they both put on an amazing show. Always nice to see the Hallé Orchestra at The Bridgewater Hall too...

Been luckily enough to see some pretty special live performances over the years: - Mark Knopfler at the Albert Hall - Buddy Guy at Shepherds Bush - Chilis at Hyde Park when supported by the legendary James Brown who played for two hours because 'Chicks on Speed' got booed off. - Paul Weller at Glasto - Oasis at their pomp back in the day plenty of other more dance orientated gigs that have been amazing too, Faithless, The Chems, but easily the best gig I've ever been to was Underworld a few years ago. I had massive expectations and they still managed to blow my mind. Going to a festival in Belgium in November and I'm actually skeptical about seeing them then as I cant see how can do anything but disappoint compared to the first time I saw them.
