Thanks, no real plans in regards to weight. Just seeing what happens with the CBL really then make a decision sometime later this year.

Cheers Chaos

My trainings nothing special mate and don't actually lift heavy often!! Its the way I lift that improves my strength I believe.

I think there will be quite a few no repping the axle tbh. A heavy weight for 105 and no belt cleans!

Very good way too start training for a comp mate. Get used too the events etc at a lighter weight then build it up. I used too go straight in at weight end up injuring myself all the time.

All the best mate

Cheers Sean. I think most people just try and get to the comp weight asap but I think its best to build up slowly. I may not even actually do the comp weights before the comp. The southern qualifier for example I only went upto 140 log twice and 280 yoke once but it worked. Also before EMPM I hadn't deadlifted over 250 for about a year then pulled 320.

Some ideas and techniques I do/have won't be in this journal as they are secret Wink

I couldnt do this, for my mental state more than anything. When I approach an event at a comp, I NEED to know I've done that weight before, and done it comfortabley

Different strokes for different folks hey...

I just trust in my training! And for my mental state, if I can work upto 120 x 3 x 3 on the axle c&p then by comp time I know I will be able to do 130 for a couple at least. (Hopefully!)
