Back in Oz mate. I'll have left before the next West Mids and I'm away during that Anglian comp.

There is a comp in my state in June, then the nationals in July which I should qualify for easily.

Really pissed off today. Was meant to do a skills test and go to about 95% in all three lifts. Was hoping for something like 240/185/240. Instead I've come down with a nasty case of tonsilitis and chest infection. Angry

I'm guessing I'll be too detrained to max once I'm better, so I'll just have to suck it up and go straight into another prep cycle.

I wasn't going to train today and probably shouldn't have. Told myself I would do some light stuff as I'm still quite ill - been coughing up all sorts all day, although my tonsils are much better.

Ended up taking a heavyish squat, no max though. Then I thought f**k it, I'll do what I was meant to do on Friday. 185 bench flew up which I'm happy with - the shirt wasn't belted down and I was training on my own.

240 pull was very nice too. My sumo form is getting better and better.
