lol, good plan. Slow and steady. And since you are training heavy anyway, you may be packing on some muscle at the same time who knows.

well that the plan, i had a test done on my body weight a few months ago and it said i had a 102kg lean muscle mass and was 28% fat so if i can keep building muscle and losing weight (very slowly Though and around 15kgs) i'll be far more compedative and hopefully stronger, mind you its a 2 year plan though to loase 15kgs means getting rid of the university keg. on a different matter you should be able to compete in the fife comp as there was a guy from northumperland there last year ian atkingson was his name think he was at the qualifier for the north qualifier for britains strongest man

i found that if you did add a triceo work some where into you rutine i.e. anoth nite when your not doing them and use a varity of diffrent width grips this will help.

Try these thing, 5,4,3,2,1 warm up then do 5 reps, rest 5 mins then 4 reps rest 4mins then
three reps rest three and so on. start at a sensible weight you can manage five reps with and start with a new weight each week. I would put ten kilos each set e.g. 5x100,
4x110,3x120,2x130,1x140. when you get your numbers right this is brutal. hope this helps if you try it tell me how you go on mate.

will give it a bash and tell you how i get on will do this over a 6 week period. and change to a 20 reper for a month then back to this routine.
