I did this comp in 2007. It was novice level at the time. It was a lovely little comp - one of my favourite ones that I've done.

The year after it was "novice/inter" level. I didn't put my name down, because I'd decided that I wouldn't be doing any novice level comps anymore.

Did this comp happen last year?

If this year's comp doesn't have the word "novice" attached to it and has decent weights I'll be interested.

I went for a quick bike ride today, Ben, deliberately attacking a couple of hills. Not a pleasant experience. It was a last desperate attempt to improve my cardio for Sunday!

To be fair though I'd still not have them step on the scales after. Even with 2hr weigh ins you may still be over weight class at some point in the day.

But if it's an official world u105 record it's no good if the lifter weighs 106Kg!

I'm just being a perfectionist here!

Havn't they already weighed in that day?

Day before at the big international comps I believe - while thoroughly dehydrated.

In my opinion anyone setting an official u105 record should have to step on a set of scales afterwards.
