As a general question to anyone that sees it..

Is beer a good source of calories?

I'm no expert but I would say that although it contains about 200 per pint, none of them are from any reasonable nutrient. On the other hand, what it lacks in nutrition it makes up for in enjoyability

Weighed in at 87kg in the 90kg class for comp tomorrow not feeling strong at all haha.

Chosen openers at the moment are:

Squat - 220kg
Bench - 145kg
Dead - 210kg
Avatar93hopkinsonr
3/3/13

Weighed in at 87kg the day before to compete in the 90kg teens.

Squat

Warmed up to 200kg in just sleeves and belt, it felt hard lol

Lift 1 - 220kg. Good lift, flew up
Lift 2 - 227.5kg good lift, just as easy (comp pb)
Lift 3 - 235kg good lift, gutted couldn't go heavier (comp pb)

Bench Press

Warmed up to 140kg touch and go easy

Lift 1 - 145kg good lift (comp pb) (British record)
Lift 2 - 150kg good lift (comp pb) (British record)
Lift 3 - 155kg good lift (comp pb) (British record)

Deadlift

Warmed up to 200kg, took my foot off the gas as I only came for the bench record to be honest

Lift 1 - 210kg good lift, happy with this as it took me to 600kg totall
Lift 2 - 220kg good lift, (comp pb)
Lift 3 - 230kg good lift, (comp pb)

As I said today was all about the bench record for me so to get comp pbs and get 9 out of 9 lifts made it a fantastic day Grin

Squat - 235kg
Bench - 155kg
Dead - 230kg

Total - 620kg in 90kg teens Grin

Well done, that's a filthy total and bench record!

What's the deadlift record for the 90kg under 20s?

Thanks mate. The deadlift record is 270 I think set by Jake Marshall
