Member 1925, 49 posts | Scotland's Strongest Man 2013 will be again held at DG one sports centre in Dumfries on 22nd June. This is not the running order of events but they are - 1) log for reps, 130kg, Head to Head, 75sec time limit. 2) Deadlift for reps, 290kg, Head to Head, Straps & suits ok, 75secs time limit. 3) Shield Carry, 180kg, Head to Head, max distance. 4) Loading, Four kegs, 105kg, 115kg, 125kg & 145kg, 8m run in loaded onto platform, Head to Head, 90secs time limit. 5) Car Deadlift Hold, Head to Head, max time - unsure if straps will be used depending on weight of cars, this will be confirmed asap. 6) Stones, onto barrels, 110kg up to 180kg, Head to Head, 75secs time limit.  Member 870, 552 posts | events look good head to head will get the crowd going for sure and pushes everyone. I hope the deadlift hold is with straps as the event looks great from a spectators point of view cant beat bright purple heads with vains sticking out. Plus i would love a go at this event. | ||
