Think I damaged my brachioradialis on the right arm doing axle clean and press back in July and then made it worse on the viking press ar ssm u90 and just hasn't recovered properly. | ||

New bar arrived today so decided to do deadlifting a day early. Bad decision!! 70x10 120x8 160x6 200x3 Was struggling to get in the right position. 262.5xf Came off the floor easy enough but hit my knees on the way up and it wouldn't go any further, too big a jump maybe. 260xf 250xF WTF is happening 230x3 better 240x2 second was much better 250xf Absolute s**t!! Not happy with myself at all, this should be routine by now but I couldn't break the floor. Right lat felt all knotted up and painful when breathing in so had to stop. Just proves once and for all that I cannot train in the day, my body doesn't work until after 7pm. | ||

Squats 70x10 120x10 160x6 Stance didn't feel good, had to adjust 160x4 200x3 x5 First 2 sets were slow and messy. Got better in next sets, last set was quite fast ans snappy. 170x3 x5 speed reps. Deep and snappy CGBP 70x10 90x10 100x6 110x3 115x3 not so good NGBP 110x3 bad! 80x10 90x10 100x6 Done, Happy with tonight after Tuesdays Deadlift snappage. Took a couple of sets to warm into the work set but the last 2 felt really good. Speed work seems to be going well and really helping the form. Benching was not so good, haven't done close grip heavy for a while and it showed. | ||

Strict Press 50x10 60x10 70x7 75x6 Power Jerk (techwork) 75x5 x3 Split Jerk(tech work) 77.5x5 x2 Shrugs 70x10 120x10 160x8 180x8 200x6 220x10 240x10 LOL. Just wanted to see what I could do Finished with some gun pumping and leg raises. Pressing was down from benching last night but it felt good to do some tech work. Shrugs were a laugh to see what I could do. Conclusion: think I need more weights. | ||

On the bench, my close bench is about shoulder width. Wide grip is probably 2-3"in from the end of the bar. Weight wise, if I train CGBP consistently my 1RM is the same. | ||

Front Squats, proper oly style barx10 50x8 60x6 80x6 Had to adjust hand width, left wrist was twisted. 100x6 fast 120x3 Snappy, rep PB 140x1 Hoorah, PBtastic 140x1 and again but better. Log was a bit of struggle tonight but I've pressed 3 days out of 4 so shoulders need rest. Only 3rd time I've done fronties this year and the first time doing oly style. Really happy to hit 140 first try and still had more in the tank. | ||

PB speed deads 200x3 x3 Power shrugs 200x5 x2 Sldl 200x5 x2 Bent rows 120x5 x2 Underhand pulldowns 100x5 x2 Ghr 5x2 +40kg Very satisfactory after last weeks poor effort. I'm going to repeat this next week and get the double on the top set before moving on so I know its consistent. | ||
