today reflexions dartford, because i like to travel around see how many gyms i can train in within a month!

so santa sangbag race which consisted of running with 8 sand bags to and from one side of the gym to other loading them to 5 foot. sand bags were 40kgs.

should have been a strong little challenge for me i guessed, but i dropped one and one feel off so which had so be re loaded so finished 1 min 12 i think which was about 15 seconds of the group pace. didn't come last but whatever was only a little game.

reflection on this was the i have being going heavy on events and heavy in the gym and doing very little for time or speed. i wasn't warmed up or really aware of what was happening as i arrived late however think doing some more stuff for speed and reps on events days would not go a miss.

so then log

i didn't manage one on this log about 6 months ago so anything was an improvement!

not going to 1 rep max log for a while going to work up to 5 reps on 80kg

back at bulks today, good gym. probably last session before sometime off, normal gym is shut, good excuse to relax, let the niggles fix.

strict press

60x3 followed by some push press
70xf then some push press
70x1 new strict press pb then some push press off the back of it

lateral raises 7.5x10 super set in rear delt raises 7.5x10 did this twice

just did some conditioning today, didn't really have a clue or a plan but did 3sets of 3 minutes with a minute gap on heavy bag and one set of 20 and one set of 40 high rep deadlifts

went to muscle madness in sheffield today

also had my new do-wins found it slightly harder in them, as far as on the jerk for the press but sure i'll learn it

found smaller log much harder to clean etc

then power cleans
