Wow, that's what i call a session! I would love to get to grips with some circus DB'ls. I agree with the weighted sit ups theory. they sure do firm up the core!

Yeah circus DB was cool. One handed I could only get it up to knee level before my grip gave way! (wasn't using chalk though)

I always thought sit ups were for mens fitness models lol, but I'm willing to give them some work.

Had to wait 30 mins for a free squat rack

60 kg x 5
80 kg x 5

100 kg x 3
115 kg x 3
130 kg x 9 PB

72.5 kg x 10
72.5 kg x 10
72.5 kg x 10

Reps weren't pretty, but I was pleased with my PB.

Decline Sit ups:

Hands behind head, no weight, 3 sets of 20

Foam rolled my upper back and left

OHP (paused reps at the shoulder):

40 kg x 5
55 kg x 3
65 kg x 3 (supposed to be 62.5)

72.5 kg x 5 fail 6

Should have got at least 6 reps if not 7. Trained alone today, might have been able to grind it out now I think about it.

Push Press:

50 kg x 4
70 kg x 4
80 kg x 4

92.5 kg x 3
95 kg x 2 (fail 3)

Front Squat:

60 kg x 5
80 kg x 5
100 kg x 5 PB

Zydrunas Presses:

40 kg x 10
40 kg x 10
40 kg x 10

Really felt these work my stabilizers.

Chins:

20 (not strict), 9 (strict), 7, 8

Done in 1hr 25

Bench:

50 kg x 8
60 kg x 5
75 kg x 3
87.5 kg x 3

97.5 kg x 8 fail 9

55 kg x 10
55 kg x 10
55 kg x 10 CGBP
55 kg x 10 CGBP
55 kg x 10

OK I guess, not good, not bad

Deadlift:

My callus was very nearly healed from when it tore doing farmers 5 days ago, so I went ahead on deadlifts today

70 kg x 8
120 kg x 5
137.5 kg x 3
157.5 kg x 3

Didn't use chalk for these, noticed that my callus was opening slightly

Chalked up, mixed grip

177.5 kg x 11 PB (10th rep slightly hitched)

As I was doign my 7th rep the little gym instuctor girl came to inform me that it was dangerous to deadlift without my shoes on Roll-Eyes but I just grunted at her and carried on haha.

Callus was torn open at the end of this set, so no assistance deadlifts or pull ups, cut it off at home, not sure that I will be able to do events on saturday Unhappy

Curls:

32.5 kg x 10
52.5 kg x 3
52.5 kg x 3

Pfft, like its going to matter what sort of shoes youve got on when you drop 100k+ on your foot! Theyll have to start issuing steel toe caps to anyone picking up a 20k plate!

Cool. How is the sizing as I am about to order mine? I'm usually a 10.5

I'm normally a size 11, but I ordered these in 11.5 as the general consensus was to go half a size bigger for Do-Wins. The length is about right, they are a little wide for me though, but that can be solved by just doing up the laces and velcro tighter.
