Trained at Genesis London with a few friends today:

Strict Press:

40 kg x 5
50 kg x 5
62.5 kg x 5

80 kg x 5 PB

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XP5TNeLgC3M

90 kg x 1 PB

80 x 5 was easier than anticipated. The single on 90 was a true grinder, felt like I was going to pass out just as I reached lockout. Only 3 more steps until I attempt 100 now Cool

Push Press:

60 kg x 3
80 kg x 3
92.5 kg x 3

102.5 kg x 3 PB

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Mr8rgaewSOM&feature=channel

Deadlift:

doh

60 kg x 5
100 kg x 5
140 kg x 5
170 kg x 3 chalk + belt

210 kg x 6 PB

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EMEyKdf_vIM&feature=channel

235 kg x 1 PB
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dI4pZ3U1MZI&feature=channel

210 x 6 was comfortable, as was 235 x 1 all things considered. Reckon 245 would be on the cards from fresh!

Axle Power Clean:

60 kg x a few triples

Axle continetal clean (no belt)

60 kg
60 kg
80 kg x fail
80 kg

Axle deadlifts (doh):

140 kg x fail Roll-Eyes
120 kg x few inches off the ground
100 kg x 1

Much harder than I thought to deadlfit doh on an axle (2 of my friends have a similar DL to me and couldn't do 100 kg). Got the 140 easy with mixed grip though.

Atlas stone:

couldn't even get the 110 off the floor!

Monster sized Dummbbell, maybe 40 kg for 2 singles

Pull ups:

BW x 9,8

Was a terrific session and I wanted a deadlift PB for my birthday (in a few days). Can see 250 going for sure this year!

Only thing that spoiled today was getting my car clamped during our Indian after and having to pay £115 Unhappy

Strict Press:

40 kg x 5
52.5 kg x 5
65 kg x 5

82.5 kg x 3 f4 PB wanted 5 though Unhappy

Push Press:

60 kg x 3
80 kg x 3
92.5 kg x 3

105 kg x 1 f2 = PB but wanted 3 reps Unhappy

Realistically I knew that after a superb pressing session last week I was unlikely to get the prescribed reps this week. Will get more next week Happy

Deadlift:

70 kg x 5
100 kg x 5
140 kg x 4

Add chalk + belt
175 kg x 3

Mixed grip

215 kg x 5 PB

Stiff bars here are much harder to break off the floor than the nice comp bar at genesis

DB seated shoulder press:

20 kg x 8
27.5 kg x 8
30 kg x 8
30 kg x 8
30 kg x 6 f7

Pull ups:

BW x 5
+10 kg x 5
+10 kg x 5
+10 kg x 5
+10 kg x 5

Cardio complex with 30 kg

One arm hangs off bar:

3 sets of 15 seconds per arm

Bench:

55 kg x 8
70 kg x 5
82.5 kg x 5
97.5 kg x 5

112.5 kg x 3 Easy, but think spotter was helping..
92.5 kg x 8. As above

Squat:

60 kg x 5
80 kg x 5
100 kg x 5
120 kg x 5

140 kg x 5
155 kg x 5 PB
165 kg x 1
175 kg x 1 PB !!

Hands further out on the bar defiantly helps. Not going super deep anymore, but fairly confident I hit depth.

Power clean:

60 kg x 3
70 kg x 3
80 kg x 1
90 kg x 1,1

Incline DB:

17.5 kg x 8
35 kg x 8
35 kg x 8
37.5 kg x 10

Pull ups:

BW x 12,10,8,6,6,3 (45)

2 hours

Weigh in post workout, shorts and t shirt: 100.7 kg
