The last two squat sessons, heavy 5x5's, when finished my neck and eyelids look like someones give me one massive love bite, right round the front. Basically like lots of little burst blood vessels, anyone else had this or simular

Yes - a few times, the old vertical leg press wouldn't fail to make me look like a freckled kids (with freckles on my eye balls)

i get the little red spots all the time if i lift heavy. Squats bring it out worse than anything but i do get it from pressing.

When I first started squatting (back in 2003/2004) I used knee wraps and used to get little spots around my eyes. When I stopped using wraps this stopped. Strange but true.

When I used to leg press heavy I used to burst them in my eyes, on my chest and pretty much all over my face. It was a good lookHappy

cool, at least I not alone :-) I do wonder what it does to other parts of the body, like the internal organs!

You're just getting a petechial rash. I get it sometimes when I deadlift heavy. Although that was some time ago... Unhappy

I get it regularly, more so on deadlifts though. It is worse if I get my brething wrong (ie hold my breath for the whole rep)

Done the eyes a couple of times too, as have a couple of others I know. It all seems pretty common
