Equipped squatting is extremely technique given that you are lifting so much more then what your body is *really* capable of. There is very little to muscle the weight back to the right line once your out of groove. I actually failed to double 200 2 months ago when I just got back into the suit after being out of it for several months . I also got absolutely pinnned with 220 in another thighter suit(size 38) at the OSG several weeks ago.

If you have a 'decent' deadlift I find you can get away with being s**t in a suit for quite a long time...

What's going on with the massive difference in suit sizes there?

The 44 has been boiled so much that it isn't much looser then the 38 (never been boiled before. The straps have also been taken in and the lower half of the suit is sugared before every session.

I couldn't make the 38 work as it takes way too much to reach depth (i guess about 250 - couldn't get into a quarter squat position with 220)....

An actual "strong" person can probably get away with being s**t in kit almost forever. Grin

Ah fair enough.

I squat in a 36 (admittedly its been sugared), but it takes me about a 10 minute fight to get it on and I can't get it off by myself.

A 38 must be horribly tight on you.

When I was at OSG a few weeks ago no one could pull the suit off me. Only John Marsden could make it move a bit and it took him at least a minute to pull each leg of the suit off me.

I'm running out of 'actual strength' then. Your squat is now higher than your deadlift, so I can see why you're f**ked if it goes slightly wrong. If your deadlift was 300 though, you could do whatever the f**k you want with 260 and likely get away with it...

Guess I need a tighter suit then. Sugared 34 is on its way haha!

Those pussies don't know what a tight suit is, not one of them! Come down when I'm there, there are secret methods for getting in and out. They refuse to learn these specialist arts... It offends me how loose they wear their suits....

I see what you mean now but surely when I'm strong enough to handle 300 in the deadlift, I will also be squatting much more as well. 260 will of course be much easier but the same issues will still be there...

A minute to get each leg off. As Tom said a loose suit then!
