Yh a good to start to the year but in all fairness I'm a lot weaker than I was at the start of Dec.

So a plan has been hatched, 4-6 weeks of raw work mostly around volume because I seem to respond well to that, then I'm going to lifting in a Super Kat and leave the Rage X behind.

Lots of swimming for recovery as well.

AM: swimming 40 lengths (1km) 16mins, ish. Just looked at the clock before I started and when I finished. PB felt like a fish, 3 weeks on low carbs then after weigh in yesterday I just went carbo happy, feel suberb for it today. Any how to finish
3 x 100m, 30 seconds between.
3 x 50m, 90 seconds between.
250m cool down.

Feeling good for some squats and deads tonight Happy

Box Squat (high box, I'll measure the height)

I set the box height to where my technique breaks down and I start to crumble. The goal is to gradually get lower.

Deficit deadlift.
Bar x 2 x 5
70 x 5
120 x 5
170 x 3
215 x 4, failed 5th close to lockout.
215 x 3. Shouldnt have attempted it again Unhappy

To much to ask for a good swim and a deadlift pb on the same day? Apparently so. I've done 210 x 5 but the difference today was that I did dead stop between each rep, last time they weren't touch and go but I'm convinced I was still using stretch reflex where as tonight it was eliminated.

Bicep is still hurting everytime I squat. Not good
