Good old fashioned respectfull relationships

 not particularly well educated Member 85, 10988 posts SQ 170, BP 130, DL 260560.0 kgs @ 90kgs UnEq | apparently older generations have been moaning about the younger generation and there lack of respect ever since people started writing things down. I work in 100's of different peoples houses every year ,Rich people and poor people, 99% of people are still pretty decent and have good morales and values. As far as young people go I think a lot of us may have forgotten what we were like as teenagers ,I did a lot of stuff I'm not really proud of and would'nt want my kids to do. All this talk of the man as the head of the household makes me laugh,those days are gone and they aren't coming back,respect is a 2 way thing and it isn't really very respectfull to expect the wife to be subservient to you just because you're bigger and stronger. | ||

Women should be subserviant because of 2 reasons, its the natural order with both animal kingdom and our own + the bible states the man is the head and the female is his subordinate, it says man shall rule not woman ! Cant argue with that.. | ||

Fully agree with this one Ed, glad to see its not just me! Agree with all 3 points. And the fact that most women have full time jobs means that the whole situation changes a bit too, why should the man have to pay for everything, but then why should the woman have to cover all the mundane chores? | ||

Cant argue with that.. yes but the bible is a work of fiction about a god that does'nt exist and used as a method to control the masses and also to allow men to dominate women. there are quite a few examples in nature of Matriarch's Hyenas for exmple. | ||
