This was a bit better than expected. Wasn't looking forward to this as I lost a days recovery having done this session on Wednesday last week. Squat felt crap but looked fine on playback. Deadlifts moved ok after the 1st rep. They didn't leave me as knackered as expected. (90.9)

Quite a good session for a pre-lunch squat session. Bar moved quite well. Amrap set had another rep or 2 if I'd really wanted it. Paused deadlifts also good. Bar hang i lost thexwill to live and just stopped. (91.3)

After yesterday's disastrous bench workout this was a good workout. Squat felt pretty fluent, as did Paused deads while my grip on bar hangs felt really good, though giving out at the end. (90.5)

Today's workout was supposed to be ascending 4s on squats at 130,140 and 150 followed by 3 sets of 4@195 on deadlift. However, it's been a hard week work wise and sleep has not been the best. My back has been aching quite a lot as well. Also, I must have eaten something dodgy because at the end of my squat warm up I had to go for a rather unpleasant 'deload'. I made the squats without too many issues, but the deadlifts were harder. First rep of each set was too slow, so decided to limit myself to 2 sets, and did an extra rep on set 2. 90.7)

I have not competed since December 2024. I may compete in December this year, who knows? Depends on training
