I was hoping your new thread in the nutrition section was going to be about bagels.

I have not eaten ants although if they were nicely prepared I would absolutely do so, I dont have a problem eating insects, except I dont think I could eat a spider.

I'm tempted to eat some, although this would conflict with my "rescuer of small creatures" persona.

though more ethical and better for the environment than eating meat, fish, dairy or eggs

Apparently food production is genuinely going to move in this direction (eating insects) in future. Heard it from a legit source.

I’m pretty I heard that they eat ants dipped in chocolate somewhere (maybe Mexico). I think I’d be up for that. I would probably also eat a roasted wichetty grub.

Ants are "harder" than chickens.

Try killing the ants and deep frying them in batter I reckon the hens will have them then.

Interesting Sugden fact... a thread title has to be at least 5 characters long. I wasn't allowed to have "Ants" as the title.

I had some on a dish in some New Nordic place or other. They're a texture, really.

I had an ant crawling on my arm earlier.

I thought about it, but didn't.

I was thinking this.

Classic English ants are small, and when cooked would surely end up as tiny little specs akin to black poppy seeds.
