Everyone knows I'm a big Eddie fan and will be delighted if he wins. Would have been nicer to see him win a more balanced final.

I do think certain things have been put together to try to give Eddie the best chance.

That's not his fault though and he still has to do the work.

Put together in what way by not making it an endurance race, there the same as events they have every year. If they want to favor him they would of had max axle and yoke

Someone put it on Facebook

Theres been talk of that since before the comp began. Hope there's no truth in it but Ed certainly has been fortunate with his group and events.
Anyway, it will be nice to have a new name on the trophy for the first time in a decade.

Apparently it's all over and he's won. Can't see any details of anything though

By giving him a bang easy heat, three static events in the final, no clean section to the overhead event.

I agree he could have been favoured even more but things can be done by degrees rather than all or nothing.

At least it was a strength contest this year rather than an obstacle course.
The strongest man in the world is now worlds strongest man.

I don't know how to put screen shots on but like I said it's been edited

He's just won. 4th in the stones. It was an unusually heavy static competition, especially with tyre flip. But that's the name of the game, it's variety, allows every dog to have his day. Today's is eddies. Might have been different otherwise but he's still won. I just hope he doesn't get all boastful abd start preaching to 'never doubt him'.. like he's above everyone. Chance, oppurtunity, he's done it.

Three static lifts - usually its squats or deadlifts

Stones are single height platform where Eddie has a minor height disadvantage

Regardless its still a fair contest where they all have the same chance withthe stronger/better athlete wins
