Squats weed fine today. Top single felt hard but looked quick on camera. 5's were fine. On bench the top single is the most I've done without a spotter. Decided to go touch and go for the reps as otherwise I wouldn't have made all of them. Block pulls were quite hard but manageable.

Squats and bench both fine. SLDL's were a bit mixed today. Top single moved ok speed wise but came away from me at the start. Sets of 5 were really hard today and I barely made the last set.

Squats and bench fine. SLDL's were just too tough tonight. Last rep of the last set got halfway up my thighs and just decided to stop and there was no way that I could lock it out. Frustrating session in a way, but a volume pb on SLDL's so I'll take the positives away from it.

Squats were much better today than they were on Friday. Bench is still feeling strong. Deadlifts were ok. A lot of my training videos are now on Instagram '@corbinpl'.

Squats and bench both fine. SLDL's were really hard again tonight. Top single was a real grinder but always there. First set of 5 took pretty much everything I had to complete. On the second set of 5 the last rep was so damn close to locking out but just wouldn't go. Oh well, still not a bad session seeing as I equalled one pb and broke another.

Squats all felt nice and comfortable today. Close grip went pretty well seeing as I hit a pb! With regards to the set on 125kg, my tricep were just too fatigued for the last rep. I also didn't like the feel of the Texas power bar for bench so next time I'll swap it.

Excellent lift Chris that didn't look too hard. Your close grip is now better than your normal grip isn't it? and what's with the elbow wraps?

Well my close grip touch and go is 152.5 vs 147.5 paused regular grip. I reckon I could do at least 155 touch and go with a regular grip. The elbows cuffs just provide a bit of warmth and support to my elbows which are sometimes a bit s**t.

Today was really just about one set on SLDL's. Really happy to hit the 5kg pb. The video shows how it looks easy to start off with but by the time the last rep comes along, I'm barely able to lock it out.

And there I was thinking that I was going to get a bit of a deload! Squats were pretty decent today. Bench moved well again today. Deadlifts are starting to get really hard.

Squats were on cruise mode today. All nice and steady. Close grip felt really good tonight. I reckon I might have been in for 160 had I gone for it fresh. Normally my paused regular grip bench is just behind my close grip touch and go which means I should be hitting in the 150's at the senior classic in a few weeks. The current English record bench stands at 160, and based of how bench is going atm, there's a slim chance I could go for it at the Commonwealths.
