With that many good athletes in the field, its going to be a lottery. Make sure you give everything in every event, and dont hold back for maybe the stronger of the events for you. Two bad placings could be disasterous on overall points! Reading back, thats sounds very negative but its meant to be positive! By the way the 'mini viking' will be there to cheer/berate you guys on! Be thankful im not competing!!!! Grin

I dont no much about most to be honest really, but from what I have heard

Mark Copley - very good at moving events. Strong lad, should finish top 5

Phil Boyham - 290+ dead and strong OH. No events training!!

Mark Clegg - no visible weakness. Also has power beard. Red hot favourite for the win Grin

James Robson - Rumoured to have done 110 farmers x 40m in 14secs???

Jamie, Millsy, myself & Andy Withers all SSM competitors

Damian lad is polish and stones beast. Farmers/Yoke not strongest events

Less than two weeks to improve Log and Yoke. Just kidding. It's not gonna happen this time but if I get some training in for next year....

All this strongman training is fairly new to me and its my first comp. Been training for only around 6 weeks at it.

Going to be around 15 seconds with the farmers based on training.

Crap at log.hopefully 3-4 reps if im lucky.

Decent with stones but nothing special.hoping to get arond 5ish.

Yoke, have no idea, havnt had much practice.will come to you for some advice!

Injured my lower back deadlifting about 4 weeks ago so dont know how that will go.if it doesnt heal then may have to give the comp a miss.

Hope the training is going weel for all you boys. Looks like some serious competition out there!

hopefully see you all in 2 weeks!

A sensible rest, and take care of the back Robbo before the comp, and you'll be good to go! Theres loads of experienced guys going, and all the competitors are top geezers and friendly. Also the organiser Ben France is a top bloke and has a wealth of knowledge, just dont be afriad to ask!
