In heats its viking or something else which could be block press, dbs or axle then with final medley possibly same as last year you have to train some bb clean and press then add in log at bsm we have so many overheads we need to work on. Very frustrating! Again with squat ive been told big axle thing for reps but I know they have the machine out there and another rumour I got wind of was max squat on the machine | ||

End of an era. Member 4646, 1964 posts | I think truck pull swapped for heavy arm over arm and keg toss for frame carry would then be a great set of events. Squat is obviously going to be the event with the most interest. No one really has a clue what all the top guys squat. If anything I would have preferred it if they had 6 months notice that there was going to be a max squat in the final and see what they all could do with a long prep. I guess most focus on deadlift like Terry. | ||

Keg toss isn't a final's event imo and obviously a few others, should be definitely a yoke or farmers/frame carry in the final. At least farmers/frame carry is a grip test. Brian Shaw will be top 3 in both truck pull and keg toss anyway. Most likely win keg toss and 2nd in truck pull. | ||

And the squats at WSM look deep to me . Good events for Terry i think .Podium place for him this year . Also Shaw will probably win it . Thor is a good WSM competitor too . It will be interesting ... WSM is opened for more competitors , not like Arnold . So when exactly WSM is going to be this year ? | ||
