the one with a meathead gym in Burnley Member 420, 209 posts | hi, i mentioned a while back that i am in the process of opening a gym, which will include most of the strongman equipment. Iv looked into buying a frame from pullum sports but at £895 they seem far to expensive for what they are. iv decided im going to go to a local company and get one made up. Does anyone have any diagrams and sizes of a standard car lift frame? or does anybody have one they are willing to sell? I am also going to have 4 or 5 atlas stone platforms made up, again does anybody have the platforms they are not using and would like to sell? (as they will be in the gym and open to the public they need to be safe and look well). Many thanks Colin. | ||

It was Iain Murray's site eh, but not sure if the gym is still on the go, or if it's just the site/hosting that's gone. Haven't seen him post on riot for a while. some random guy Member 404, 56 posts SQ 260, BP 220, DL 270750.0 kgs @ 102kgs Eq | hi, ive just had a cardead lift frame made, awesome bit of kit ! got the dimensions off mark westabys frame, n got the brother-in-law to make it for me, he'd be happy to make more if people are interested ???? i would put some photos on here but im s**t at that sort of thing, there is a couple of it in use on my facebook (guy oldfield) will add some more of empty frame next week if you want ? the cost would be 150-175 depending on the cost of metal at the time, made for normal and side grips.............. | ||
