I roll some foil into balls (think golf ball size) to keep the chicken off the base. By the time it's finished, the skin comes off easily and the meat literally slides down the bone. I damned well love my slow cooker. | ||

But does anyone know any sides you can slow cooker? Just so most of the work is done whilst were walking up a hill and I just need to do the meat other thought is using it for a rice pudding | ||
