It's been in a cupboard for about 4 years I got out of the habit of uing it. 4lbs brisket, 2 finely chopped onions and one can of Guinness. Left it for 12 hours and it is incredibe Two of us had loads and there's still just over half left. Total cost ? About £6 and there's 2lbs of beef left for sarnies tomorrow Haha thanks mate. This slow cooker lark has hit me hard too. It's amazing! I've had it a week and already can't lie without it.

This does need stirring regularly though. Stir in some vanilla whey before serving too.
