How much of a draw is the WWE for strongmen?

I have just read that Adam Scherr has joined the WWE and I actually saw him as a potentially very good strongman in a year or so due to his size and not being that old.

Now Mark Henry was seen as probably one of the most talented strongmen and he got lost to the WWE also...will this be a theme for the future?

Will money always draw them away or having a title and lifts that mean something keep them in strongman?

X 2

If given the choice of being wsm or putting food on the table and making a decent living as a wrestler I think the vast majority would take the money.
Mark
WSM or WWE superstar? Can understand why many would choose WWE!

Wrestling with sweaty men in pants obviously lol

What strongmen would the WWE be interested in...

Thor and Ed Hall are obvious ones.

Loz as the Iron Sheiks son.

Jenkins seems pretty good in front of the camera, not sure of a character for him though.

I guess anyone with abs would be of interest so Poundstone and Radzikowski.

Shame they couldn't team up somehow, would be awesome to get tens of thousands of people to a strognman show!

On the flip-side I always felt that Big Show would of made an amazing strongman!

He is massive and athletic for his size. I don't think he really trained that much...but he is obviously very strong, he picks other wrestlers up effortlessly.

Read a story that he was getting crap off some people in the gym, put 5 plates a side on the bench and done a few reps effortlessly. Probably bo***cks.

Next to Ronnie Coleman for size comparison and he can move fairly well for a 450lb+ man.

In good shape, when he had potential

Also looks like he played basketabll like Brian Shaw...he is just bigger!
