Few more shows in time then see how i fair. Worlds is a big step id like a bit more experience before id ever get the chance, hence my amateur arnolds approach. thanks though, and to everyone really, for being so behind me.

I agree, made these exact predictions a while ago regarding Chris and Ed. Like him or not and whatever you think of his performances in the big shows, the general public loves to watch Ed. Lets not forget that WSM is a TV entertainment show first and foremost. It's also for this reason I predicted that Hixxy wouldn't get invited, but next year he will. Look how popular Sadler is / was, the 'little' guy, the under dog, the plucky Brit etc. Hixxy will be a WSM finalist in the future, but I don't think it would have been this year. So from a TV show perspective, would you rather the 'underdog' did well but ultimately got beaten by the monsters... or would you want the little pocket rocket to come from nowhere (as far as the general publiv are aware) and smash his way to the final? Just my 2ps worth, and Hixx you know I think you're awesome, but I expect this to be WSM's view.

the UK's leading expert in bio mechanics Member 1973, 7379 posts | Canada and Australia haven't had their national competitions yet. LPJ will have stiff competition from JF Caron, and Christian Savoie too. If I remember he hasn't done CSM for the last couple of years, he's qualified through different routes. May have to this year though if he doesn't get an invitation. As for ASM there was some controversy last year that Derek Boyer won it, as Brant wasn't invited to do i until the week before as far as I remember and he declined to do it, citing some unfair play with Boyer and the organisers.
