I don't even think Radz will make the final
and Lalas is too small, won't figure near the top

lalas was 1 point behind Z at the euros. Hes proving height doesnt always matter.
Do think hel do very well.
Radz, maybe. Also depends on whos group hes in.

everything is event dependant like but things are definately not black and white this year. Even thor can do some damage hes coming strong.

Based on last year does anyone think that Jack can make the final if he gets in an easier heat. From what I remember last year his performance looked good enough to make it if he'd been in one of the slightly weaker heats. That doesn't mean the same will happen this year, but I was very impressed that he did as well as he did. Ed Hall is looking good too, could he make the final I wonder. Obviously we all want Hixxy in the final too but I don't wanna jinx it! Cool
For me it's more about how well our new lads do this year, than it is about who wins overall. Dispite Loz being out which is a real shame this is a better year for British strongman than any previous year, certainly for me anyway. Can't frickin wait!

Happy

more than ever down to the events, Lalas didn't do very well at the Russian SCL at the weekend, but the events were stacked for Misha

hell if its all big man events Thor could win the thing

but I can't help but think, other than the dead, Jenkins will be top 1 or 2 on everything else, just depends if the dead screws him or not

On Facebook Loz has called it for BigZ
I think it will come down to what events are in the final, but I think Jenkins will be the man to beat

Given the final is reportedly heavy axle DL for reps, I cant see Jenkins winning it. If is, for example, 350-60, he'll get 1 or 2 reps and 1 point!

Shaw & Z will get 10, 9 or 8 points...thats a massive gap to bridge when they are so consistent over the other events

If there's a truck pull in the final, it will be interesting to see where Jenkins places in relation to Shaw, Terry, Z, and Thor (on the assumption that they all make it there). I'm not discounting him by any means, but those four are some great pullers.

yeah, if he comes last or second last on that dead it could be curtains

however I expect him to be closer than that

he knows he is the best in the world at pressing (beat Z at both pressing events in the Arnolds), right up there on squats, top 3 at moving with weight. HE MUST have been concentrating on deads leading up to this........

perhaps that doesn't matter, and he is inherently never going to be as good as the others, but I am expecting an improvement

I reckon we've got a pretty good chance of having 3 or 4 of our lads in the final! Defo Terry contender for top spot! Would be uber cool if mongo makes it to final!

the groups tend to be "seeded" though, so it just depends on who you have in your group

if you have, for example Shaw & Solvi Petursson, you're effectively f**ked lol

Think we tend to 5 (one in each heat) nearly all the time, especially last few years
