Felt knackered from the start today. Not sure why, had two days feeling decent, guess I might be a bit drained from Wednesdays 75 min UT2 as I'm not used to it at the moment. Glad I got through it, but it wasn't pleasant.

Evening

Circuit - 10x10x10

I think I'd be better off dropping the circuits at the moment, but there really is no way for me to get out of them Roll-Eyes

Felt a little apprehensive after yesterdays session as the AT work can be horrible if I'm not going well. Anyway, set off feeling a touch crap but soon got into it, from about half way through the first set it was an enjoyable session. Picked the pace up a little for the second set, HR just a touch high on the last split. Got some TR work tomorrow, 3x4 I think, yahooo.

Ah, yes sentiment on the internet can get lost/misinterpreted quite easy

I have done my TR but 12x1 rather than 4x3 much more enjoyable and far less daunting.

I honestly don't know which I would prefer to do, I have a big dislike for the lots x fast intervals, the 3x4 I did today though were pretty horrible!

So I set off today thinking I would do these at the same pace as I did the 2x3 min TR last Sunday. It's funny, as soon as I finish a session I forget quite how hard / how much I suffered on it. Anyway, needless to say 3x4 is a fair bit tougher than 2x3 Roll-Eyes Legs were going jellified with lactic towards the end of the first set, took the next two at a slightly steadier pace. Pretty happy overall, 1:37 is pretty much my 2k pace so I'm not going to be going much faster than that for 4 min sets.

That first set would rank you Number 1 on the new Leader board and is 3m more than my pb. Nice work.

IT and property management/renovation are quite diverse careers - you strike me as one of those guys who can do whatever you put your mind to. Your rowing certainly shows that anyway.

Lovely TR session - great pace!

TR really is the worst. The fact that the paces guide says less than or equal to your 2k pace means that they know it will be a horrid experience and you will have to try and hold on for dear life. Grin

UT1 work is up and down at the moment, today was average at best. In related news two of my fingers on my left hand have been getting gradually more inflamed over the last couple of weeks. I'm pretty sure it's the C2 that's causing it, it's not too bad yet but I hope it sorts itself out soon, not sure what to do for it really.

I too have a bit of a problem with my ring finger LH, I just try to alter my grip throughout the sessions.

Add in 30minute and 10k to your to do list!

Yeah, I'm trying that with the grip jt, problem is they don't hurt once I'm warmed up on the C2 so I'm not sure if it's working, should sort themselves out, just hope they don't get much worse before they do!

30 min and 10k are both on the list, it's just a long list that is spread over a long time Grin

Cheers! Wish all my AT work felt like they did.
